A new garden created for a couple whose children had left home in a Conservation Area of a popular Hampshire village.

My clients wished to create a grown-up garden now that their children had left home, featuring a large terrace of the rear of the house with space for dining and entertaining. A raised water feature provides sound and sights while steps lead up to a large lawn edged with deeply planted borders.

A second terrace and pergola provide an alternative space from which to enjoy the garden.
